Real Ales

Dave and Tina welcome you to the Wheatsheaf in Gamlingay and hope that you enjoy your visit to this wonderful country pub.

We re - opened the pub at the end of April 2012 with the aim of providing a great range of real ales, lagers and wines in a clean and comfortable pub. We will soon be offering a range of snacks.

Pubs should be part of the community; we hope to be developing the pub teams and providing entertainment etc.  We are also dog friendly - Tina will no doubt have a stock of dog biscuits behind the bar.

But what about us?

Our previous pubs were based in Derbyshire - both were CaskMarque accredited for the quality of the real ales, we were also listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide between 2010 and 2012.

Tina is an animal lover, the proud owner of 7 cats, an aviary of canaries and has in recent years rescued everything from hedgehogs to a kestrel!

Dave, on the other hand, is looking forward to Liverpool FC returning to winning form, has recently discovered blues and enjoys cask ales.
